Client: Vestas | 52 x V136 turbines
ProTech Access deployed a 16-person supervision and QA team to support the delivery of 52 V136 turbines at Ryan Corner Wind Farm. Working alongside the main installation contractors, we oversaw the installation of key turbine components – including towers, nacelles, hubs and blades – to ensure works were completed safely, efficiently and in line with Vestas' standards.
Our scope included contractor supervision, quality control, statutory safety inspections and detailed progress reporting, giving the client clear visibility of installation quality and site performance throughout the build.
Client: Vestas | V136 turbines – LPS blade upgrade
ProTech Access supplied specialist blade repair teams to complete the removal and replacement of the lightning protection system (LPS) on V136 turbines at Salt Creek Wind Farm.
Working under controlled rope access, our technicians carried out inspection, controlled removal, installation and finishing of the upgraded LPS as part of a wider blade upgrade program for our client, improving lightning resilience and supporting long-term blade performance.
Client: Vestas | 83 x V162 turbines – tallest in the Southern Hemisphere
ProTech Access provided integrated construction support across Stage 1 and 2 of Wambo Wind Farm, helping to deliver 83 V162 turbines – the tallest in the Southern Hemisphere. Our team oversaw component delivery and installation, working alongside Vestas and the main contractors to maintain safety, quality and schedule on a technically demanding project.
Our supervisors provided general quality assurance and ratification of works, ensuring turbine components were installed to OEM specifications. In addition, our rope access teams completed blade inspections and upgrade works, allowing early identification and rectification of issues and supporting a smooth transition from construction into operation.
At ProTech Access, our strength is our people. Our rope access trusted wind turbine experts, qualified trades and experienced project managers bring hands-on experience from major wind projects across the Asia–Pacific region.
Since 2021, we’ve built our reputation on technical excellence, rigorous safety standards and genuine long-term partnerships with our clients in APAC’s growing renewable energy sector. From rapid emergency call-outs to complex, multi-phase construction support, our teams adapt to your site, your standards and your schedule.
All rope access works are carried out by IRATA-certified personnel and GWO-trained wind technicians, giving you confidence in both safety and competency on every project.
